Here is my outcome...if anyone is interested....
We finally got our camper back...
the original unit was actually replaced with a gt2 (the new concertone product). There was initially a mix up at the dealer so the estone was not for us but someone else...that said the new unit had to be mounted with an adapter because of the thickness of the unit. It loads differently than the first one...this one loads like a car stereo, and does seem to function better (quick to load) and the sound seems slightly better, so overall I am happy that the unit was replaced with the latest model and that it was covered under warranty, and the trim/adapter that we were waiting for actually matches the original cabinets so you wouldn't know it was switched if we didn't tell you. It was just frustrating that we had to loose use of the camper for several weeks, but hey guess it comes with rving!
