We completed the software install today. We found that the typed instruction sheet was more helpful than the professionally printed installation pamphlet. Even with that there was some "trial and error" to get everything installed and set up. The good news is that with the booster antenna located approximately 4 feet above our trailer roof, we got 17-22 Wi-Fi networks to come in and the relatively signal strength was shown for each one. Without the external antenna we just had seven. We were located in a residential neighborhood approximately one mile from the nearest Starbucks and did NOT get their Wi-Fi signal. When setting up, you eventually want to get to a pop up like this.
After you select the signal you want to use, the symbol in the lower left hand will shift from a red "X" over bars to a green set of bars showing your signal strength.
