Winegard omnidirectional antenna

Wondering if anyone has upgraded their TV antenna to something different? Looking for more ability to pull in and hold a signal. First time out worked great at Smithville Lake and pulled in a lot of channels. Went to Branson this weekend and not so good. I don't want a satellite but do want a better antenna. Your thoughts and advice appreciated in advance. Happy Trails to all.

Rayzar Automatic Features

are you saying you have upgraded to the winegard or asking about it? I have seen the new winegard advertised in trailer mag. nice that you don't have to windup anything. if you were using the windup...guess you know to hit the power booster button...in my new trailer its hard to see and if I didn't previously know about boosting the signal I would have missed it.

Good questions, debarjay! I have the Winegard already and yes I used the power button. I don't have to wind it up, but it loses the ability to be directed towards the signal locations to better pull in the signal.

I'm just asking if anyone has upgraded from the Winegard to another product and gotten better results. If you don't ask, you never know! Thanks for the reply!

Here's a picture of the antenna:

My personal preference is the sensar batwing over the omni-directional. My buddy has a older winegard roadstar and cant hold a station that i may have to turn my antenna towards to tune in.

The JACK antenna is now the preferred choice for an OTA antenna. The OMNI DIRECTIONAL antenna was supposed to be an "upgrade" but to many complaints about it on this forum. Not as advertised antenna. Google "jack antenna" for particulars.
