ZX500/600 question

i have a '07 Roo with the ZX100. since it doesn't have a DVD capability, are either of these worth buying on Ebay?
i would go with the Jensen 970, but i would have to do some cabinet mods and i'm not very handy with wood.
i know that most of the Concertones are crap but are any of the newer ones any good? i had heard some good things about the ZX690.

Call me a cheapskate!!
If I were you, I'd consider adding a 12v outlet if you don't already
have one.
Then you can buy a little 12v inverter (cost around $20-25)
that plugs into the outlet
and gives you 120V AC and then go to Wall-Mart and get the cheapest
little DVD player they have.
Some are less than $30.

That little inverter can come in handy for lots of other
things when you are boon docking.
It will charge a cell phone or an electric razor or power
a video game or charge your camera batteries or power
a small TV etc....

If you really want to go with a new unit then get the Jensen!!
Cabinet mods are not that hard!!

I saw "black Friday" newspaper ads for cheapie DVD players
for $10 bucks! These are perfect for camping if you don't
have a built in player.
