Acadia area RV Parks

I plan on traveling to Acadia national Park this summer. I would appreciate any input on full hook up RV sites in the area. I have researched parks in the area but I would rather have an unbiased opinion from someone who stayed in the area.

Thanks

We stayed on site 113 in the KOA Oceanside this past July. The site was by no means large, but was OK. At about 80 bucks a night it was pricy but we liked the location. We spent 10 nights there and our time was about split between Moose Island activities and off Moose Island activities. Being right at the entrance to the island worked good for us.

We stayed at Mt Desert Narrows the last week in September. Great weather, plenty of available campsites at reasonable prices and the summer crowds had gone. Campground is nice, on the water, (at high tide), good average facilities, campsites for the most part are well located and adequate, some have a view of the ocean. Location is a few miles north of Bar Harbor and close to the entrance to the Park and bike paths. It is on the regular schedule for free shuttle to the park and town.
