Advice on POI in Accord NY region?

We are heading up to the TT Rondout Valley RV Resort in Accord NY. Just curious if anyone had been up there and or in the area and what there might be to check out. This is a bit more last minute than I usually like as far as intel on a region goes but our first plan had been TT Timothy Lake North here in PA but their water park is closed indefinitely due to a leak so a quick plan B was needed... Thanks!

There are a few places to see but most are 45min to 1 hr. away. The FDR mansion and Vanderbuilt mansions are in Hyde Park around 45 min. away...Walkway over the Hudson is about the same driving time. The Military Acadamy at West Point is around and hour and 15 away but a must see...Hope this helps!
