AL/FL state park/resort
Looking to take the class A for 5-7 nights this Summer somewhere along the Alabama or Florida gulf coast. Any suggestions on SP or resorts y'all visited would be great. Thanks in advance for any feedback.

Topsail State Park near Destin is great...but good luck getting a reservation for the summer on short term notice (sites usually booked out 11 months in advance for summer dates)

While in AL, you must visit Dauphin Island (Ft. Gaines is amazing!)
Campground is nice, pull thrus, 50amp, free WIFI, at a high season rate of $49/night (not bad for beachfront access!)

Check out Ft. Pickens in Pensacola Beach. It has one of the top 10 beaches in the world. We have been several times and it is one of our favorites.

I live right near Emerald Beach RV Park in Navarre, FL and it is always virtually full. Im assuming it has to be pretty good.

A new place just out side East Point, Fl is Coast Line RV Resort. We did not stay there but stopped by and it was very nice and had quite a few class A's. Check out their web site. Luxury RV Resort Eastpoint Florida - Coastline RV Resort There's a lot to do near by. St. Georges Island is nice and there is also a state park for camping too. Orman House and Botanical gardens in Apalachicola is very nice. I should know because I just finished 6 weeks there as a volunteer. There are a couple of estuaries to hike and great places to enjoy oysters. If you're in Apalachicola, try Up a Creek Raw Oyster Bar. It's a great place and you have to try their gumbo. Have fun what ever you do.

Lloydg is right on the money Up a Creek Raw Bar is wonderful, it is right on the river and the food is wonderful. We spend out Thanksgiving week at St George Island State Park. Very pristine beach. The campground is back in the woods with some sites having huge sand dunes in the back of the site. The night star gazing is unreal. St George is cute town with a light house in the middle that you can climb. Only disadvantage is the park is so long that is takes you 20 mins to get to St George and another 20 or so to get to Apalachicola which is where most of the stores are. It is a cool little fishing village. As mentioned looks of hiking kyack and bikes can be rented
