Well the parkway runs about 469 miles so what section will you be visiting?

Kim, We plan on getting on at Asheville and going north. I saw where they have a interesting course at Stone Mountain. Coming from flat land and the gulf of mexico, playing up and down looks fun. Were just looking for fun and seeing the colors change. Have a great day !! Jeff

Ok. Some of the NC members may steer you to some other courses. If you get up toward the northern end in Virginia, Wintergreen ( a ski resort) has two fabulous courses, one on top of the mountain and one in the valley and it is not far off of the Parkway.

Stoney Creek website:

Stoney Creek Golf Course - Wintergreen - Stoney Creek Golf Club, Virginia

Devils Knob website:

Virginia Golf Courses - Devils Knob - Central Virginia Golf Course

Enjoy the Parkway and take your time. There will be lots to see all along it.

Thanks Kim, Found them on the map. Is the exit marked on the parkway or do you recommend an exit ? We dont make our beer, but will buy you a beer or two when we meet! Jeff

It is state route 664 and is between mileposts 20 and 10 if you are traveling from the south so you will be very near the northern terminus of the BRP.

The NPS is picky about putting signs to private businesses along the parkway and it has been a while since I was through that section but the state route number will be there. It will be off the right side heading north.
