Anyone stay at Pinch Pond, Manheim Pa?

Our first trip into this area. This seems to be centrally located for 5 days of day trips but we see mixed reviews online. We want to see Hershey and sightsee Amish areas. No kiddos this trip and we do not need a resort since we will be spending most of our time sightseeing. Open to suggestions. Thanks in advance.

We stayed there a few years back for the Hershey RV show. Seed nice enough, we were in the rear of the CG up on the hill. I remember there is a shooting range not too far off, but noise was not any issue. Site, power and water were all acceptable... good home base for the area.

We stayed at Pinch Pond last year. The campground is nice and so is the pool but.......... There is a shooting range right next door and you will experience a lot (and loud) gunshots. Also the PA turnpike is also right next to the campground and you hear all the traffic noise in the park. Did I mention loud gunshots??? Enjoy your stay.

Thanks all. We booked it, early September. I found the gun range hours online and confirmed they're not a 24hr business, heh heh.
