Bad day for this guy.

SUV towing motor home jackknifes on I-75 - Toledo (OH) News, Weather and Sports

Didn't know an SUV could tow a "motor home"

My daughter and son in law have a Tahoe like that one, I checked it's towing capacity and it was rate a 6000 towing and 600 tongue weight because I've been talking with my son in law about getting into RV'ing. The Tahoe in the pic also has low profile tires on it, which would really have a low weight capacity
That trailer looks to be in the 30ft range, I estimate at around 8000 lbs., toque weight of 800 to 1000 lbs. The Tahoe was way over loaded.

I've, also, seen SUVs pulling TTs but never anything that big....yikes!

Nice enclosed under belly on that unit though, FR could learn a thing or 2 on how to do it properly...

Yes nice sealed underbelly, I just applied 4 tubes of black silicone caulking on our underbelly sealing the plastic edges of the underbelly on ours.
That guy needs a 3/4 ton truck minimum. Live and learn. bummer

I put my money on a cheap hitch, improperly setup hitch, improperly loaded (low TW), or travelling at an unsafe speed. Either way, I call user error.
