If you're willing to drive to the beach...Coastal GA RV Resort in Brunswick, GA is very nice & newer campground with a sparkling pool...about 20min drive east of campground will get you to either St Simons Island or Jekyll Island for beach access & island atmosphere & great dining!

Check out James Island County Park on the South side of Charleston. They have a water park, full hookups, and 10 minutes to the Ocean.

Also Huntington Beach State park at Murrels Inlet is very nice. Walk to the beach, no pool, very few full hookup sites.

Camp Hatteras on NC outer banks. Three Pools, Oceanfront. Every imaginable amenity. Expensive but worth it! I've never camped there, but have driven in - we have a weekend home nearby!

Great park! And Folly Beach is a time capsule. It may be 2013 for the rest of the world, but it's 1958 on Folly Beach.

Katherine Abbey Hanna Park in Jacksonville- City operated park on the beach with lifeguards and freshwater showers, 300 electric sites, all have sewer hookups, next to Mayport NAS, VERY shady and all paved roads, lake to fish and paddle in, (no swimming)
and a small water park for the kids. We go there often, however just spent a week out there with NO AC, and met bomb doc from this forum there- John, April and their dog, very nice folks, and went swimming at the beach and saw a 6 or 7 foot SHARK!! About 5 feet away from US!!! First time seeing that, however I guess you never know when you are in the ocean. Very nice park. Randy
