Tremont Outdoor Resort in Townsend, Tennessee (the peaceful side of the Smokies). Beautiful, well maintained campground has sites that back up to the Little River. Riverside sites have covered decks. River is stocked with trout, and the Great Smoky Mountains National Park entrance is literally an eighth of a mile from the campground. Staff is nice, bathrooms are kept clean, has a swimming pool, laundry room, game room, cable TV, wi-fi included, 50 amp or 30 amp electric, water, and sewer. Only downfall is weak cell phone signal in the area. (That can be a good thing!)
I also recommend www.rvparkreviews.com
. I've found most of the reviews on there to be very helpful. I planned a two week trip from my home in west Tennessee to the Pennsylvania Amish country from the reviews I read on RV Park Reviews and it turned out to be a great trip.
