Best Campgrounds for New York , Vermont, New Hampshire

Hey Folks

We are looking to vacation down through Lake Placid, than Stowe Vermont and finally over to North Conway, New Hampshire. Any suggestions about campsites would be helpful, thanks

Gold Brook RV park in Stowe is a nice campground. There are several good campgrounds in the North Conway area.

Lake George RV Park, the BEST for sure.....If your going down the thurway at all, heading west, Turning Stone RV Resort, another choice location.
Also, almost every NYS Park that offers camping is pretty nice..they dont have the ammenities that the RV parks have, after all, they are state parks, but all the ones I have ever gone too are very nice and comfortable...and cheap

Hay roopert this is one that we stayed in at Bethleham NH Apple Hill CG its on US 302 about 10 miles south east of Littleton and 50 miles Conway The drive from Bethleham to Conway is a scenic route it takes you pass the cog RR that takes you to Mount Washington S P and the summet of Mount Washington Lots to do in this area be sure to ride both the Cog RR and the Conway Scenic Train. In North Conway I stayed several times at Beach Campground. Tall pine trees and can be muddy if it rains. Sites are level and big. Had a bad experience there a few years ago when the owner operator came out of the dark and doused our campfire with a bucket of water while we were sitting next to it. we almopst got burned. I did return a few years later, against better judgement. The return experience was much better. Unfortunately, the owner/operator was sick with cancer and he had another camper/caretaker running the CG.
Saco River Campground is always full. Book ahead. Lots of kids. There is another campground in North Conway, but never stayed there. There is also a nice CG in Glen, NH . stayed there a long time ago, but remember it as nice and clean.
