I'll take I-65 thru Birmingham any day over driving thru Memphis!


I-10/I-12 to I-59 North at Slidell


I-59/I-20 North to I-65 at Birmingham


I-65/I-265 North to I-71 at Louisville


I-71 North to I-75 at Cinncy

Make sure you have extra fresh water hose and a power cord extension. KY state parks have 2 sites share a hook up (separate hookups but same location) and the one you get may be on the curb side of your site which will require you to run your hose and power under the RV. I have stayed at two different state parks in KY and needed every bit of 50' of hose at Fort Boonesborough, lucky I was able to reach the electric without an extenstion. At another state park I was lucky the park was not full and I was able to change sites as the hookup was over 50' from the pad.

Thanks for the info, Would hate to get all the way there and not have enough of either one.

Where in Ohio? Perhaps if you take the Memphis route and are heading east past Nashville you could take 840 at Dickson and bypass Nashville traffic. It will add about 30 or 40 miles but you will not have to fight Nashville. 840 rejoins I40 just west of Lebanon TN.

I'll go 100 miles extra to avoid Birmingham. Roads are brutal there.
