We spent a day at the Biltmore, in May. It was a gorgeous day and we walked all thru the gardens and "hiking trails" which was about 3.3 miles. I brought a backpack with lots of water-which was needed! As you enter the Biltmore Estate, a sign says no food or water. They don't want open containers so I was fine.
