Boondocking on our way to Arkansas

We are planning a trip toArkansas from NE North Carolina. I have planned 2 nights on the road as we are not on a schedule. The plan is to spend the nights in a Cracker Barrel parking lot as they are just off the interstate. The question is should our battery last 2 nights with jus usin 1or 2 lights and putting the slide out an in? What about the TV. In have no idea of the draw on the battery and don't want to get so low I bring in the slide. Thanks for any advice.

Unless you have a 12 volt TV, it won't work on the battery so that shouldn't be an issue. Bring a portable radio. Keep the tow vehicle running while you put the slides in/out and that won't run the battery down. Keep as few lights as possible on, and remember that your refrigerator uses 12 volts for the control power even when it's running on propane. You should be OK since the tow vehicle will recharge the battery as you drive each day.

Thanks for the info. We'll make sure to keep the truck running when putting the slide in and out.
