I'm thinking taking the west bypass would add ~ 20 to 30 minutes plus fuel.
It's a tough call whether all that's worth it to save $7.
Maybe..... My truck gets less than 10 mpg so a 20 minute bypass adds 20 miles and 2 gallons to my expense. That puts the "savings" down around
$2.
Nah, I'll just take the new bridge!

But you are correct there is an Interstate no toll alternative to staying on
I 65.
