Without hookups, Pine Grove Furnace State Park is beautiful. I wrote a blog post/review here.

Someone on be forum recently posted about Mountain Creek Campground in the same area (link to post). They liked the campground and hiking in the area.

WE have stayed several times at both the Yogi -bear in Milton, and Keene lake Campground. Very nice

We just stopped (last weekend) for a two day stay over at the KOA in Bellfonte (sp). Also very nice. If you go there, ask for one of the patio sites. Really cool......

PA is big. I have yet to encounter any really bad campgrounds (a little uneven last time is all) but if you are looking in the south central region I can recommend a couple.
Strasburg - White Oak
Upper Bucks County - Red Barn and Colonial Woods
Towards Philly - Boulder Woods
Lehigh Valley - Robin Hill
Up north - Ricketts Glen
