Campground near lakeview ohio

Picking up new Rockwood TT this weekend at RV Wholesalers in Lakeview Ohio. I am trying to find a place not too far from there to camp overnight as we make our way back down 1-75 south towards TN. We'd like to try out some of the camper functions. I've looked at Indian Lake state park but we would be forced to book two nights and there are no dump stations available. Does anyone have any other suggestions that has been in the area? Thanks in advance

Most of the campgrounds are still closed around here and/or don't have any water running or facilities open. Dry camping only. Looking at a high of 50 on Saturday(at best) and below freezing overnight.

I believe this KOA is where we stayed last March 7th on our first night in our Sabre. There's at one water spigot always on. It worked well for us. We pulled or of rvw with no idea where we were going, pulling a brand new 40' 5th wheel. It was a stressful first thirty minutes, but once we picked a place, and called to find it open, GPS took over. Great first night! KFC and two six packs. Great memories those first couple nights!
Have fun!

I would think there would be a State Park along the way..we picked up our new TT last weekend and took it to Alum Creek State Park.. I would get on the Internet amd go to Ohio State Parks and see what is nearby off 75

not sure about Ohio but even KY state parks don't open till April 1st. As cold as it is (northern ohio) you may want to consider postponing till first weekend of april??

Most of the state parks are open but the office is not. Its self registration. No problem dumping as they all mostly have dump stations. If not some Gas staions have them or rest stops. Fill up with water at RVwholesalers.

Indian lake state park is about four miles away and they are open year round with limited services. Really nice campground. Sorry didn't see the date of original post
