Campground near Nashville, TN?

We are traveling from Illinois to Navarre Beach, FL is a couple of weeks and are trying to find an easy-in/easy-out campground off I-65 around our half-way point in the Nashville area. Since we are just passing through, nothing too fancy. Electric hook-up is required, though.

We're driving our Sunseeker and pulling our Chevy Spark.

I'd appreciate your recommendations.

Haven't checked the map but we are planning a trip that way later this year. Loretta Lynn's ranch looks like a nice place. Different areas etc.

May be more than what you are looking for though.

We stayed at Safe Harbor RV Resort over a long weekend. Close to I40 - less than a mile which should also get you to I65. Its just east of Nashville. We liked it.

Thanks for the suggestion

Safe Harbor looks really nice. Too nice for a quick overnight. However I will keep it in mind when we want to stay longer.

campgrounds near Nashville

We stayed at these two places on our way to Florida this past April:
Seven Points Campground https://www.recreation.gov/camping/s...O&parkId=71412

and Two Rivers Campground: Two Rivers Campground | Home | Nashville, Tenn. | Attractions

Seven Points (COE) is very nice and on a lake and not very big. Stayed here 2 nights. Two Rivers is a large RV camp ground. We stayed here one night on our way down to Florida

Nashville Campground

We have stayed at Two Rivers also and will be staying again at the end of this month. Nice, friendly and a bus can take you into town for a small fee.

We've stayed at Nashville North KOA a few times.
This is right off I65.
A little noisy and nothing fancy but it is easy on off.
They have electric and water and full hook ups.
Your choice.

It always seemed like slim picking south of Nashville.

Last month we stayed at the Nashville Fairgrounds. It is located just off the highway and close to downtown. It is perfect for an overnight stop and very reasonable in price for FHU.

Stayed at pretty much all the commercial parks around Nashville. Always liked what is now KOA North. When they changed to KOA nothing changed but the price so started staying at Grand Ol RV park, alot quitter and lot cheaper.

I just spent 5 days at grand old rv resort. People there are so nice. I will not stay another place when going in that direction. Look at rv park reviews. Tell them I sent you (tom Cruse) they might give you a discount?

I checked both. Both get similar middle of the road reviews. For me 30A water and electric is within 5 bucks of each other. Either one will work for an overnight.

Campground near Nashville

When I stayed at Seven Points this past April, the cost was $26.00 per night. Because I have the "The National Parks & Federal Recreational Lands Pass" the cost was $26.00 for the two night with water and electric!
Good deal!!!

Do not just "pass through" Nashville. It is too great a place to just spend the night. We've stayed at Two Rivers RV Park with great service and convenience. They even managed to score us some tickets to Grand Ole Opry on a Friday night. Memorable!! Take a night or two to enjoy the town.

Last February, from Mid Michigan on our way to Mobile, AL. we stayed one night at Bluegrass Music RV Park in Franklin KY.. It is still a 1/2 hr or so north of Nashville just before KY/TN border. People are friendly and helpfull with setting up. Got in after 7 and left early am. It was okay for a one night stop. There is also a Pilot and Flying J's at that exit.
