Camping Around Portland, ME

I am heading up to Portland, ME in July and need some info on the following campgrounds: Bayley's Camping Resort and Pinehirst RV Resort.
Thanks!

I've been to both and would recommend Bailey's. i was not impressed with Pinehurst. They required us to register our bicycles at check in at a cost of $2.00 per bike. I've never seen this done at any other campground.

Thanks, I reserved at Baileys from 7/4-7/12. I'll have 4 children going and Bailey's seemed more kid friendly.

Pinehirst seems to have more seasonal sites. Since I'm a gypsy camper I feel like I'm invading there turf.

You willlike Bayleys. We have been going there every July for the past 12 years. If you are there on a Thursday, make sure you go to "Thursday Thunder" at the beechwood speedway.
