Camping at Hillman Ferry

We are looking into taking a trip to LBL this summer. Wondering if anyone has a couple of recommended site numbers for right on the lake. I'll have my 30ft Catalina and my Dad will have a 17ft Clipper. I've been on their site and as far as info about the amenities goes its great but there seems to be a lack of pictures of the sites. Not wanting any surprises as to if my TT and tow rig will fit on the site. I've been to a couple of campgrounds where their 50ft doesn't match my 50ft if you know what I mean.

If you want to be right on the water of their 360+ sites you are limited to Area "A" 47, 48 & 49. Also "A" 60, 61 & 62 which are right next to the swimming area. For longer rigs I would recommend Area "C" 8, 9, 11, 13-19. Most everything else is in sight of the water but of course not water front. All area "T" sites are level and easier to access and fill up first. This facility has non-reservable sites which mean first come first serve and I've been able to get in on all but the holiday weekends.

Just returned....as you were wanting info on Hillman for this summer you likely might have already gone. I was very impressed. As others have stated section t is the mostly the full hook ups we were in the full hookup sites on the hill. We have a 28' Catalina and had no issues. there were some big rigs up there just need a spotter when setting up. 100 and 88 is where we were at. But if you want one right in the lake it will likely be electric and water only. Here are some pics of site 38 that I think might be the one to get if you want to be right on the water. Few of the view, and the site.
I am putting together a blog post of this weeks trip, should have some good shots of the various sections. Follow signature link.
