Kentucky Horse Park is a nice camp ground.
We just spent 4 nights there a week ago.
Nice pool but it closes end of Aug.
There is a great new bike path that runs 10 miles from the
CG into Lexington.
Very modern built for the World Equestrian Games held there last
summer.
Distilleries are near by easy drive.
Even if you are not a horse person (I'm not) a day visit to the horse park
is a fun interesting time I promise.
It's the heart of the bluegrass and great country.
I came to visit in 1969 and never left!!

+1 on the Bourbon Trail guide as a great source of info. Do be sure to visit Buffalo Trace in Frankfort, KY.
