Camping near ATL airport

I will be working at the Atlanta airport during the month of August. Are there any good camping spots close by?

You might check out Atlanta South RV Park or Stone Mountain Park Campground (may be a little pricey). Check them out at : http://campgroundreviews.com

Thanks read all the reviews. Not the best options. I will need a spot for 3 to 4 weeks for work at the airport. Its either stone mountain or get a hotel for the month. Don't really want to do that. Tough choices tho

What shift will you be working? That could make a big difference with traffic concerns.

If it were me I'd reschedule for October.... August is brutal in Atlanta....
If you're not used to completely bad traffic you will be by the time your job is complete. Be sure to eat at Spondivits at least once - it's near the airport.

Good luck,
Don

It will be August or September and no choice on reschedule. Shifts will vary not a 9-t type gig. Hope for mostly really early am or evening. Might need that 2nd ac on my camper after all.

I'm from ATL. Stone Mountain is BEAUTIFUL....BUT since the I-85 bridge collapse the traffic is OMG. Just bear that in mind. ATL is huge and there aren't really many options without having to deal with the OMG traffic.
