Not sure but here is a link with more info
Travel by RV; Campgrounds and Camping on Georgian Bay, Ontario, Canada
I have done this trip twice on a motorcycle. Not with our RV. We stayed at the Provincial Park just south of Tobermory. From where we live by Flint it is a easy 3 day drive around Lake Huron taking the ferry.

I was born and raised in Michigan and have traveled the state extensively. I see you are coming from NC so I would recommend that from Ohio take US23 north into Michigan. Worth the stop at Cabella's in Dundee. I like to stop for gas at Mt Morris Rd north of Flint. Small truck stop easy on/off. Then again at 4 mile Rd south of Grayling. Again small truck stop easy on/off. I like Mill Creek in Mackinaw City also to stay. View of bridge and island is awesome. If you go to the island do the horse carriage ride and as we like to call the tourists (fudgies) by some fudge at Doug Murdick's. You may also hear us call the tourists from below the bridge "trolls". The Grand Hotel is awesome but you cannot get into it unless you are staying there.
Mustang lounge is the local bar to hangout at. Also in Mackinaw City the Keyhole bar is a must see. Walls are covered with hotel keys from all over area. There is also a Museum in town that tells all about the bridge and how it was built.
Ditto on all the other places everyone has recommended. Another of my favorite drives is south of Mackinaw toward Cross Village and down to Harbor Springs. It is called the tunnel of trees drive and do not take you RV. It is a very small 2 lane road. I could go on forever since I love this state and hardly ever leave. Any other questions just ask.

Or after your stay at Four Mile Creek you can cross into Canada at the Rainbow Bridge, take the QEW just past Stoney Creek and hook up to Highway 6 and proceed as ED outlined sorta in a reverse way. This would be much shorter than getting into Michigan and going up and than down. Same sites etc. only in a route of succession.

We are originally from MI but left for the Army in '81. Growing up I vacationed in the UP every summer. The last 2 summers we went back, pulling our Roo, and stayed at Mill Creek in Mackinac City and did the sites around there. Then crossed the bridge. The first yr we camped at Brimley State Park. It's a wonderful park on Whitefish Bay. Sites are very nice as are the bathhouses. We drove to Tahquanmenon Falls and Picture Rocks from there. Both are easy 1day trips. Last year we camped at Tahquanmenon Falls State Park. A very nice park but the Mosquitos were so bad we left a day early. From there it is an easy drive to the Soo. The falls and Picture Rocks. Good luck, Michigan is a beautiful state and their state parks are very nice.

We live near Sault Ste. Marie, MI. You can do a day trip from Mackinaw City easily. The Sault is about an hour and a half (counting time to cross the bridge) from Mackinaw City. We like the KOA on the St. Ignace side of the bridge. There is lots to do in the Sault and things like the locks and other attractions will easily keep you busy for a day. Also the museum ship Valley Camp is very interesting to see. It is a retired Great Lakes freighter.
