Central FL in Jan or Feb

Looking for an RV Resort in Central FL area for a weeks stay at the end of Jan or beginning of Feb. Going to the panhandle for spring break in March and wanted to break up winter a little bit, but wanted weather a little warmer than panhandle in Jan. Love to have Gulf access but would settle for a lake. Want sewer connection so looks like most SP's are ruled out. Appreciate anyone's ideas and suggestions, Thanks!

I'll be watching these responses for new ideas for places to go. We enjoy sun n fun & horseshoe cove. Horseshoe cove is on the Braden River. Snf is within 15 mins of the beach. I think there are some nice places on the east coast near Titusville.

Thousand Trails-Orlando is located just north of I4 on hwy 27. Full hookups, paved streets, swimming pools, hot tub, etc.

It is open to public, but we are members and stay 2 weeks in, 2 out, 2 in,... from 01Dec to 15Mar.

Suggestions (all have Lake or river access):
  • Disney's Ft. Wilderness - Orlando (pricey but has everything. Possibly nicest RV resort in the SE USA. Access to all Disney parks and transportation)
  • Lake Magic RV Resort - Clermont (near Disney World)
  • River Ranch RV Resort - located SE of Orlando on SR 60 about 25 miles west of FL Turnpike.
  • Holiday Travel Resort - Leesburg, NW of Orlando (has indoor pool)
  • Red Coconut RV Resort - Ft. Myers Bch (sites right on the Gulf beach)

There is a very nice campground in Ocala, right down the road a little ways from Silver Springs (glass bottom boats). It's called the Wilderness RV Resort. We have stayed there a couple of times and would recommend it.
