The last time we RV'ed to Charleston we stayed at the Oak Plantation Campground
. It has been a few years but it was a nice place that was an excellent jumping off point.
Doesn't miss seeing the CSS Hunley, the Civil War submarine, at the Warren Lasch Conservation Center.
has the retired aircraft carrier, the USS Yorktown, and other ships as well as aircraft in their museum.
The Magnolia Plantation
is a worth while visit as well.
The old downtown district is also well worth the time.
