Common courtesy

Isn't so common any more. Showed up at a campground today and my site looks like this. All my neighbors crap. Then he proceeded to flush his black tank onto the ground running into my firepit and all over my site. He must have flushed it 15 times. Some people have no idea.

And you didn't punch his lights out? Now that is self control!
Luckily, that kind of behavior is quite rare.
Did you calm down enough to ask him what he thought he was doing?
Did the campground give you a different campsite?

That camp site looks a little tight to me, are they all like that in that campground?

As mention above this is rare, but you never know who you move in next to. Hope you have better campers next to you next time....

Probably just ignorant of what he's doing. COuld be he has a stinky trailer inside and is trying to get rid o the stink.

You should have had "a word" at flush #2 maybe. I'd definitely ask for a different site. Gross!

I believe dumping black water on the ground is breaking the law one can not dump sewage on the ground, I would have had him removed from the campground......This is a health and safety issue not only for you but kids and pets as well, just think...you step in it and then track it into your own camper if you didn't see it happen.

I try to avoid CG that are so tight. Some people do not know proper CG etiquette. They walk through your site with out asking is they can. Some encroach onto your space. They need two picnic tables and just take one from another site.

It might be ignorance or laziness on that neighbor's part, but it is illegal to dump sewage on the ground. It's very serious, and for good reasons.

Going by the site post, it looks as if he is in his site. maybe a little sloppy flushing his tank, but, maybe you could have asked him to clean it please?! Who`s chairs are those? and that fire pit looks awfully close to your trailer, no fires at that site! I don`t think I have ever been at a campground with sites that tight!

The site's are tight. I wanted a water spot but I should have known better with a 42' rig. He didn't start dumping until I was all set up and the baby is going to sleep now.
Those are all his chairs, tackle boxes, fishing poles etc.

Now I am sitting outside and his dogs are howling non stop. I'm about to drop some bodies up in here.

I missed the part where he dumped his tanks on the ground. For the safety and health of my family I would be pulling out of this site right away. This idiot should be removed from the CG. If he did this at the CG we stay, he would be asked to leave without a refund plus be charged $100 environmental clean up fee. Both sites should not be used until the area is properly cleaned. Plus there are laws against dumping so close to a water area.

Where is this campground and what is the name? Especially interested as you are from the Charlotte area and we're from Concord. I sure don't want to go to that place.

It is Rutledge Lake in Asheville. It's a shame because it's a very nice campground. He is leaving in the morning. I just don't understand how people think this is acceptable. I get embarrassed if I leave my baggage door open too long.

You should have walked around to see if he had a FRF sticker. Maybe invite him to this forum so he can find out how to not make a mess when camping. Some people just don't care....

Nah. I made up a bunch of HERK7769 FRF stickers for situations just like this. I put one on the back left corner of his camper. He'll never know.

Did you report the jerk to mgmt? If not, I would sure tell them as if someone else happens to have seen it and reports it to some govt agency, the cg owners could be in a world of hurt.

RUTLEDGE LAKE??? Really??
I was looking at their website this evening planning a trip to the Asheville area this Fall.
Are all the sites this close? What's the site number the jerk is in? Don't want his site!
