Crossing the Appalachians

In about a month I will be traveling from Gainesville, GA to south of Knoxville, TN area and I am trying to determine the best area to cross the mountains. As I see it my three choices are: 1. take Hwy 441, 2. Hwy 76, 74 to I 75, or 3. Hwy 129 which looks very twisty. Technically I could probablly manage any of the three, but I am not sure that would be wise. Any input would be appreciated.

Stay far, far away from 129 with anything in tow. Tailofthedragon.com

I would avoid going 129, it is in fact VERY twisty around the state line and is not really RV friendly.
I have done 411 from Cleveland to Knoxville several times and it is a nice ride.
