Disney

Staying right this very moment at the fort wilderness campground and want to report in that this is hands down the best campground period. Spend the money. Get a premium site and have some serious fun.
Smores at the bin fire are great. Buy the kit at the food truck or bring your own. Rent the golf cart. Ride the horses. Whatever you want. Don't cheap out and stay somewhere else. The amenities and ability to enter park early are worth every penny. How can you put a price on memories. Anyways hope this helps somebody.

Never stayed at ft wilderness but we did walk around the campground 2 trips ago. We own a disney time share so we always stay on property. Many befits to staying on site vrs off site. If you rent a boat you can see parts of the old river country and discovery island. Did you go and see the calliope yet

I can only imagine, we're planning on going in the future with my GS. I think by the time we get there prices will probably would be at least 10 - 20 % higher. But that's the price you pay to play. My time frame is 5-6yrs from now hopefully we'll get to go.

Is it the DVC timeshare you own? If so you can use it to book a site at Fort Wilderness, but be warned it is possible but hard to do we have yet to be lucky but have heard where others have been able to.

Did Fort Wilderness last year, for spring break...

I totally agree - it wasn't cheap, but it was (just like the rest of the Disney experience) worth it.

Immaculate facilities, the bus system is great to get around; and being able top hop a ferry across to the Magic Kingdom? All fantastic!

I'm planning to go again in another 2-3 years; and will be staying there again!

RV travel to Disney is SOOOO much more affordable than flying down and getting a hotel and having to eat out for every meal that we are going for the 2nd year in a row. We leave this Thursday at noon-ish and plan to check into Ft Wilderness Saturday afternoon,
