We tent camped for 25 years and have been known to adjust plans based on weather. As a Scoutmaster I very rarely cancelled an outing for weather but it happened. We bought our camper to take weather out of the equation so we go no matter what!

One memorable trip we got rain the first 2-3 days, didn't get to play softball, that's how most of our time was spent, but I'll never forget walking in the rain, through ALL the puddles, some about 6" deep, with my girl, still got some great quality time with her.

We only consider forecast severe weather, watch the radar and go enjoy. Don't think we had any trips this season when it didn't rain at least once...
