Do you cancel trips for rain?

We got our 26DBH last Friday and already cancelled our first trip last weekend for rain but booked one this weekend with a 3 night minimum. The forecast has been up and down and I just want to go sooooo badly! Do you guys suck it up and enjoy, or forgo the weekend trips when it's raining?

Neither snow, nor rain, nor heat of day detours us on an RV adventure.
The sound of rain on the roof and slide toppers are very relaxing. I will say it can be a bugger setting up in the rain, but I have a rain jacket and a nice hot shower ails all the chills.
We are hesitant if high winds are in the forecast as that's one scenario we try to avoid.

Depends. Right now we need the rain so badly, I'd probably go. Especially because my trips are usually fishing trips and we need a good cold rain for the fish to finally start biting. Predicted severe weather is a completely different story however. Don't want to be out in the boat or camper during a tornado!

Unless it's a complete wash out that interferes with a purpose, (beach/event) we keep our plans. The rain makes for good sleep and rest if nothing else.

I think that depends.
We look at the forecasting, then decide. We are newbies too.
We went on our last trip in the rain about 2 hours away, set up in drizzle, and just relaxed. The next day was beautiful, but slightly overcast.
We had no intent of "exploring" but basically wanted to just relax and be away from hectic jobs.

A bad day of camping is always better that a good day working or working around the house.
You make payments rain or shine, you need to enjoy it good weather and bad.
Get out there and enjoy the day under your awning if need be.
