Eufaula, Al Campgrounds

We are traveling down 431 Saturday night and looking for a campground in Eufaula, Al. to RON. Any suggestions?

We stayed here first as an overnight and liked it so much we went back. Right across from Florence Marina and some of the most amazing houseboats.

We've stayed at White Oak Creek and Lakepoint Resort. They're both nice. If you have a senior pass, White Oak Creek is a COE park.

We've never stayed at Eufaula Campground, but I've heard that it's nice.

All those campgrounds, Lake Eufaula cg (AL), Florence Marina cg (Ga), White Oak cg (AL), Lake Point Resort (AL), and there's Cotton Hill (Ga. and COE). Cotton Hill is our favorite as they have one section with playground and swimming area for the g'son's. BUT, I'm hearing from people who have been there lately that the cg has had to cap off their sewer dumps at each campsite. This is due to some conflict with the City of Eufaula, AL. wanting to raise the price of Cotton Hill dumping into the cities sewer system. Florence is full hook-up and they have their own treatment plant.
