Thumbs up First long trip- anyone heading to TN over Easter?

Hey all!! You may have seen my previous thread, asking for recommendations for Spring/Summer vacation sites. I've been eager to go back to Cades Cove in Townsend TN so that is where our first long distance trip will be.

We're staying at the Townsend KOA over Easter Weekend. Is anyone else going to be out that way or care to join in? We'll be about 45 minutes from Gatlinburg, and 20 or so from Cades Cove itself.

Who wants to head over to "The quiet side of the smoky's?" The KOA won't have their activities in full swing but they offer an egg hunt, and church services on Easter. We'll be at one of their premium sites on the water

This should actually say heading to TN this Easter, but it's only a hop skip and jump away from NC

That area is on our short list! Been there many times growing up and can't wait to take the DW to Cades Cove! Beautiful

Thank you!

Cades cove is one of the most beautiful places I'd ever visited. I only got to spend 3 hours there last year and have been dying to go back.

We like Pigeon Forge and on our trip to Alaska it will be our first stop.
