First Outing 2012

We had our first outing last weekend. We live in southeast VA. Took a long weekend and stayed close, but it was worth it to be back in our TT again! We found a campground in Williamsburg that we had heard about, but had never been to. Turns out, they were just completing some beautiful upgrades. Brand new bathrooms are very modern and nicely decorated. They also created 9 brand new premium sites. These sites have extra patio room with furniture, grill and fire pit included. (see pictures) The weather was perfect! Mid 60's during the day and mid 50's at night. Perfect for relaxing by the fire! I highly recommend it if you are going to be in the area!

Right there with you. Well, not actually in Virginia. Took the new TT , the 4th rig since 85, out for the test weekend and everything basically worked fine. Couple of minor details to see to, but nothing spoiling. I can never remember to take camp pictures. May have to delegate to the DW. We've got another long weekend first of May at Johnson Shut-Is with friends and then 5 or 6 more through the summer. It was nice to be back out with the TT. We were in home country, Lower Current River in southern MO and we stopped in the Bluff for lunch with family. Shot this one on the parking lot. Doesn't do much for the camping shot though.
