First trip

Just got back from our first trip of the year, to Salt Fork State Park in Ohio, and first time out in our new MH. Windy, rainy, muddy, cold! But we enjoyed it, as did the 2 dogs. They never want to come back home.

It only gets better from here! Each outing after the first is more relaxing. I spent the first couple outings figuring things out. Got your next one scheduled I bet

Sounds like a good time. I used to go to Salt Fork with my Aunt, Uncle and Cousins and a kid.

We did a trip to Shenandoah National Park last year with an old hybrid missing the battery. A couple of nites it got so cold our breath condensed and the canvas was covered with frost inside the trailer. Our grandson asked us if we could have a heater for our next trip with him. When we got our MH this winter, he asked if we could go again. I told him when I was his age, I would go winter camping in a tent. He was unimpressed, and said he stay in the MH.

I agree with Joe, it only gets better from here. One of my little dogs gets in a mood every Sunday morning, like I know you are going to make me go home now and I don't want to.

I and with your grandson, tent camping is over rated. We tent camped for years, before we wised up and moved up.
