Smile Florida in Feb - March

Any suggestions on campgrounds in Forida for 6-8 weeks in Feb-March 2013? We have a 38 ft 5th wheel. Thoughts & suggestions are appreciated!

We belong to Thousand Trails, but I think they rent sites to non-members. We stay at Orlando Thousand Trails (Clermont) and Peace River (TT) in Wauchula from late Nov/early Dec to late Feb/early Mar. There is also Lake Magic in Kissimmee on Hwy 192 close to Disney World.

Florida is a big state so there are lots of options.

For lower priced longer term, look at 3 Lakes in Hudson just North of Tampa.

For higher price and more to do (their own golf course, etc.) check out Okeechobee KOA in Okeechobee.

Look at the FL State Parks also. They are pretty nice but usually have a 2 week limit

X 2 on Topsail. The best FL State Park we have used.

Can get very cold at TOP SAIL in the winter-----

Look at some parks near Naples, there are several. Lots of snow birds fill up the RV parks in the winter. It is almost , well mostly warm during the winter months. Good south Florida warm enjoyment. But you have to make reservations NOW to insure a spot.

About 20% of Topsail sites are for longer than 2 weeks. Seems strange, but the rangers there will give you a list and then when you call the reservation service you can select a long term spot.

I live in NY. How would I be able to get the list?
