I'd pick Suwannee River SP if you haven't already left. Blue Springs SP is closer to Orlando.

I've been there on a day use trip to checkout, nice small park with two campground areas.

Bathrooms are ok...typical older style units.

First campground I believe is named Dogwood...smaller tight campsites & access loop road, best for smaller campers/pop ups/tents.

Second campground (Magnolia) larger sites some are 50amp, more elbow room & closer to foot bridge at the river...typical FL campsites...sandy & shrub brush between sites.

Can anyone suggest campsites on the gulf beaches that are further south than the panhandle part of Florida?

No problem
Fort Desoto is my first choice, campsites are woodsy and they have sites on the water.
KOA is nice too on a bayou that is on the water too, sites are smaller KOA type
Turtle beach is on the gulf, sites are right next to each other on 1 drive.

It all depends what you like.
