Just did kancamagus hwy today. Weather was good until late afternoon. The scenery is breathtaking! The color is in peak or close to peak. Spending night at Lyndonville, yes the color is over here. Will go down to Bennington area tomorrow. Hope somewhere along the way is nice.

Great shots Jeff and you hit the timing great!!
We had to travel south to White River Junction, VT on I-91 today, colors just starting to look good south of Exit 17 and starting to come on strong down there. From there, we took I-89 from Lebanon, NH to NH State RT 4 and over to Canaan, NH, from there on over to Plymouth, NH and picked up I-93 north back toward Franconia Notch and the north country.

If anyone is interested, the colors are just coming on very nice down that way.

Jeff, I hope you get to see some pretty valley colors traveling to and from Bennington tomorrow. Sorry we couldn't meet & shake hands, the trip to the VA Hospital was for a minor procedure at 8Am this morning and then a couple other minor appt.'s. BTW, was 34*F in St. Johnsbury and 52*F in WRJ!

Glad things are working out on the trip for you! Should be better weather tomorrow (hopefully). Daytime temps should be in the mid to high 50's for you according to www.intellicast.com (sorry, I think I had .net before)

Jerry

Jerry, I hope you're doing fine after the procedure.
We absolutely had another fabulous day today. Vermont is just gorgeous right now, everywhere from north to south. We left the beautiful Wild Flower Inn in the morning and went to Willoughby Lake. It's an amazing place. There's an RV park right next to the lake! Guess I've found a place to stay for my next visit.
The color is only slightly past peak in NEK in my opinion. We then traveled south on I-91 all the way to past white river junction, to Rt 4, then 100, 103, 140, 7, 9 to Wilmington where we spend the night tonight. Woodstock, Bridgewater on 4 are perfect. Rt 100 is peaking. After that it's a bit early but will be great next few days. Yes the weather is perfect!
We had a blast!

My apologies to everyone for the double post above. Jeff ~ glad everything came together for your visit and nothing was wasted.

Also, Thanks for the well wishes .. minor situation was injections to the lower back area and wasn't the 1st rodeo for that.

Seriously though, hope everyone has enjoyed the visit and all the photos that everyone has posted .. I certainly have and would like to see more from anyone willing to share.
