Free stays off Mass Turnpike

We will be traveling across Massachusetts late evening next week and may need to pull off for the rest of the night in the Springfield area or an hour or so east of. Not sure if Massachusetts allows stays in Walmart parking lots or if there are truck stops with a cess for a pickup and a 5er. Any suggestions or experiences appreciated.

There is a truck stop of the turnpike at exit 6. At the end of the ramp take a right and it is on the right . Or at the end of the ramp take a right and your first left there is a large parking you should be able to use .
