I highly recommend River Plantation in Sevierville.

Last trip to Pigeon Forge we stayed at the KOA.
Campground and facilities were clean, staff was friendly.
Bonus was being able to walk to the Trolley station and hop aboard to go shopping, etc and not have to drive vehicle in the traffic.
You can take the Trolley to Gatlinburg and not have to deal with traffic and parking.

We are at plantation in Tennessee pulled in from Michigan at 5:45 pm not bad time left at 6 am stopped for gas food and bathroom thank you all for the campground recommendations
