We have stayed several times at Gettysburg Farm RV Resort. It is a very nice CG, part of Thousand Trails. Visitors are welcome.

Pine Grove Furnace State Park in PA is very nice. We make it there every year. Also close by is Caledonia State Park but we have not stated there yet. Good luck. Gettysburg is a great place but can get very crowded during summer.

We camp in Gettysburg twice a year. It's our favorite place. We don't stay in a state park however but have stayed at either Drummer Boy Campground or Granite Hill Campground. Summers are very hot so we go in the spring and fall.

We have stayed at Drummer boy 2 times and the sites are big and its pretty close to most things. If we go there again, we would definitely stay there again

Caledonia State Park is very nice located 15 miles west of G-burg on US30. I think that is closest among PA and MD state parks. Catoctin State or National Parks are in Thurmont, MD about 17 miles south of G-burg off US 15. Camped in both state parks Hard to pick a favorite. Greenbriar State Park on US 40 between Frederick and Hagerstown, MD is a good choice if you were thinking about splitting your time between Gettysburg and Antietam.

Not a state park but we've stayed at Artillery Ridge campground and enjoyed it. Very close to battlefields and downtown Gettysburg.

We happened to be there last year for this and it was great.
