Going to nova scotia !

AS you have seen my post lately, we are planning our trip to Nova Scotia.
I have already ask several questions & received very good responses from all of you, thank you very much.

Part of my trip will be to use I-81N until it intersects with I-78E in Penn. I will use I-78 E until It intersects with highway 33N near Bethlehem. I will take HWY 33 N to highway 209N along the Delaware water Gap Natl Rec Area to Port Jarvis. My question is, Is the I-78 in pretty good shape or is it rough. seems like the last time I was on it (about 10yrs ago) it was pretty rough.

I am trying to take this route to stay out of the Mt's (Pocono Mt's).

I'm open to suggestions of you that use these interstate highways.?
