Greys Point/Bethpage Campground in VA

Has anyone been to either of the above campgrounds in Eastern VA? Thinking about storing and using a TT on one of these sites. Thanks!

We visited Grey's Point for Memorial Day weekend. What would you like to know?

Been to both and are very nice. Both are huge and offer lots to do. Lots of golf carts.

I've been to Bethpage for the Coachmen Owners' Association national rally several years ago. COA returned there this year for their rally. Very nice place, right on the Rappahannock River leading into Chesapeake Bay.

Storage is in an area adjacent to the campground.

Grey's Point is, or at least was, owned by the same folks. Both are within an easy drive to Williamsburg, Jamestown, Yorktown, and many other great eastern Virginia locations.

We spent 7 days at bethpage this july and LOVED it. It was hot but there are 3 adult water slides, a small childs play area and a seprate activity pool. Just be careful what site you pick as some were holding water for hours after a heavy t-storm would roll thru. Also took a ride thru Greys Point (appx 20 min away) but it did not compare. smaller in size and the water park was VERY small compared to Bethpage. Needless to say I WILL be going back next year!! Hope this helps

Just got back from a weekend at Bethpage and we absolutely LOVED it! Our new favorite "local" (i.e. - within 2 hours of home) campsite that we will definitely be visiting frequently.

Yes, so I am at Grey's Point now and I understand what you mean about standing water. We had the mother of all storms come by and the streets and campsites looked like a lake for 2 hours. Now to put things in perspective I did see a guy grabbing 2 of every animal and putting them on a boat. But seriously those who did not retract their awnings lost them. It is very flat here and there is no drainage. Other than that it is quiet and low key.

It is a great time. Have fun. Are you going to Grey's Point or Beth Page? Oh and take bug spray. They are on the water.

Wea re going to bethpage.......as of yesterday there is a chance our roo comes 2 days before we go! Ugh! Thinking of postponing the trip a few days to make sure it comes in and I have a chance to test everything.

Yes a dry run in the driveway is always good. I felt the same pressure a few days before we left I was still working on my Truck. Only had one day to get the Roo ready before we left.
