Gulf Coast

Planning on a 10 day stay in Biloxi/Gulfport Mississippi area this summer. We would like to camp as close to the beach as possible. Any campground names as suggestions /recommendations are appreciated.
Thanks

Buccaneer state is nice, but about 20 minutes from Biloxi/Gulfport. Summer is peak "no seeum" season and they seem to be especially thick around there. The back section is close to train tracks and busy with traffic. Personally I like trains, but not everyone does.
If you want to be in the actual Biloxi/Gulfport area with access to all the features, there are several nice commercial campgrounds. Cajun RV is nice. Majestic Oaks gets good reviews too.

There are two in Gulfport, right across from the beach. We have stayed at Cajun, nice park. But just know that there is an active rail line that runs parallel to the highway, band the parks along 90 back onto this rail line.
