Anyone have a good RV park or ones that I should stay away from. Planning on meeting my parents for 4th of July and they are going to take the oldest daugher home with them for a couple of weeks.

The state park there is nice. Doc's was nice last time we stayed there but I've seen a couple of bad reviews.

Take a look at campgroundreviews.com and you'll see what people have to say about the different parks.

We just returned yesterday from Gulf State Park. Really nice, we stayed lakeside. They have 460+ sites all WSE. We will go back!

We go there all the time. Occasionally, we also stay at Johnny's RV Resort (formerly Palm Lake RV Resort). It's not bad either, but can get a bit crowded at times. Reasonably priced for a private park. Can't go wrong with Gulf Shores in general.

Gulf State Park is the best in the area but you might have a hard time getting reservations at this late date. My next choice would be Island Retreat RV park but don't count on the WiFi working at your site. I always had to walk up to the office with my laptop to get a connection. After those two, Doc's or Gulf Breeze RV park are good.
I personally would stay away from Luxury RV Park, the sites remind me of a gravel parking lot.
