I suggest you google the Farmers Museum in Cooperstown. They have a re-created village circa 18th and 19th centuries that is very worthwhile walking through.

For the football HOF you will need to plan for about 4 to 7 hours depending on how I depth you wan to visit the history and teams. If u like football u will luv this place.
Camp grounds are not real close in Canton but I can recommend some I have been to and liked. Clearwater RV resort. Cutty's Sunset Resort, Countryside campground Magadore. These are about 10 miles from HOF. Near Hartville. Goodyear blimp hanger wing foot lake. Big Hartville country Amish kitchen and Flea market. Huge hardware store built by Amish. Lots to do. Enjoy.
