Port Aransas Texas after Christmas until March 1st, then back to central Texas for DS's wedding. Then to Appomattox, VA., for the 150th anniversary of the official end of the Civil War, April 9th, 1865, at Appomattox Court House National Historical Site. Sorry I got long winded, but we're excited about it.

Departure date is up in the air , depending on weather but likely between just before Christmas to Just after New years. Have reservations from mid January thru mid March at various state parks and national forests. Starting out near LaBelle at Corps of Engineers park in mid-January then various state parks on the gulf side then over to Kissimmee Praire Preserve and Lake Kissimmee state parks then on up to Tomoka State park for a week then to Ocala Nat'l forest. No reservations after that but likely hit Osceola National Forest and several places in panhandle before working my way north through Alabama in late March/early April.

Can only dream of going south this year, afib keeping me home this winter! If I could it would probably be the Rio Grand valley in Texas or the Phoneix area. I will be in the south vicariously by reading all your posts!
