Heading to Myrtle Beach next week

Staying at Pirateland Campground looks like fun we will have the grand kids with us 11 & 13. What fun things are there to do outside the campground. Boardwalks, restaurants, amusements etc anything within walking distance. Any info will help never been in this area. We arrive July 19 for 5 days.

The Sea Captain's House, good Myrtle Beach seafood, nice atmosphere. Right on the ocean.

We'll be at Pirateland mid-September. We like Crabby Mikes and for steamed crabs MD Style we head to the Noizy Oyster. Check out Broadway at the Beach, nice shops and restuarants.

We will be at Pirateland the week of August 5 for the first time also. We have friends who have camped there and at Ocean Lakes and said both are very nice with lots to do. Our kids are 11 and 15 and was told they would not be bored.

Some of the best seafood restaurants are in Murrells Inlet, just a short drive on Hwy 17 South. Drunken Jack's, Sea Captain's House, Captain Nance's Seafood are all good.
