Hershey, PA

DH and I will be attending the RV show held in Hershey for the first time. Have reservations for the Hershey RV Park. Since we have never attended a show this size, would appreciate any feedback on what to expect. Also any recommendations on other things to see and do while there.
Thanks!

We have been several times but just for the day. Lots of rv's, and vendors both outside and in the Giant center both on the concourse and main floor.
Not fun if it rains, The Hershey Chocolate World is close. Being only about an hour away have never stayed at the park. Have Fun !!

Plan to spend a couple of days, a lot of walking so pace yourself, I usually get the multiday pass and spend a few days checking it all out. If you want to do some seminars plan plenty of time.

Thumbs up

We were there several years ago. At that time you could park right in the lot, I believe they're now charging and taking reservations for that. We stayed at Hershey Conawago Campground about 10 miles out, an easy drive. The show is the best.....the seminars alone were worth it. Do spend some time in town...the botanical gardens Hershey Chocolate World and Hershey museum are all very close by and well worth the visit.

X2...I get around to see what I want in a long day. I drive up to get there an hour or so BEFORE the gate opens. I'll spend about 6-8 hours then head home. I don't talk to many salespeople at the RVs as I'm not buying one anyway. I'm mostly interested in the gadgets and stuff. Coolest thing last year was the off road 4x4 RV.

Once was enough for me. I went with high expectations. It might be ok if you are in the market for a new TT or MH. Otherwise, it was pretty much a waste of time.

As mentioned a lot of walking but we love it. It's a all day event for us.
